The Royal Wedding

Was AMAZING! Who watched it??!! I am sure so  many of us are blogging about it!

Let's talk dresses first. Kate Middleton is beautiful anyway, but these dresses she chose were just gorgeous! I loved her ceremony dress, it was classic, understated and elegant. Everything that Kate appears to stand for.

The veil was perfect, and the tiara from the queen was a great match with her whole look. The dress was Sara Burton for Alexander McQueen which is what it was speculated to be!

The ceremony was very nice too. I loved how formal and how royal it all was. The church was amazing-ly gorgeous, and everyone all dressed up with their hats was such a fun site to see!!

And the couple is an adorable couple in my opinion. I loved how they interacted in parts of the ceremony when they were smiling or chatting, it was very cute. They did seem a bit nervous, which is understandable since there were millions watching! But overall I think they handled it well and with absolute class. I heard that Prince William is very protective over Kate, and I think that showed.

As if it couldn't get better...they come out with her reception dress. Now when I thought her ceremony dress was perfection I had not seen the reception dress. But now seeing the reception dress I actually think I liked it more! I think each dress was appropriate for their uses, the ceremony dress was definitely the right dress for the formal morning. But this reception dress was such a great look on Kate. Again with the simple, understated elegance, the dress was just a Kate dress. She looked so much like herself in this dress!

If I were going to re-do my wedding, I would hunting down a replica of this fabulous dress!! And I am sure the world will be filled with many brides to be doing the same thing!!

I can't wait till more details and pictures get released from the wedding! I DVR-ed the whole thing yesterday morning and came home from work and watched it for hours. I was actually sick of hearing about the royal wedding last week, it was getting a tad bit excessive. But once I started to watch it, the hype was totally worth it. It was an amazing site to see and I am so glad I was able to see it.

Once I was done with the REAL royals I caught the William and Kate movie on Lifetime. I thought they did a pretty good job. I am not sure of the accuracy of the story it portrays, but it was entertaining and the acting was pretty good. I like who they had to play William and Kate, they resembled them in their own ways, and they were able to portray the characters very well.

Hope everyone had a great Royal Friday!!
