i am switching employers and i have about 10k in my 401k with current employer. my next employer does not have the option to start 401k until after one year of service.i am looking for options to rollover my 401k to a IRA in a company. does anyone have any recommendations?thanks in advance

I still have my 401K from my old job that I quit about 3 yrs back into the same (company's) account. The reason I didn't roll them into IRA is that I prob would have made the same selection of mutual funds that I currently have in my 401K. The company is stable so no worries there. Point is, move your money only if you think it will serve you a better purpose or else wait for your new 401K to kick in and after that just roll over the other account directly into the new one...

Just my 2 cents, of course...

Just FYI,our
You can also extend the H1b...if your labor is filed 365 days prior to your H1b expiraton...
You are looking atleast 21 months into future...there are so many things that can happen...
140 rejection may not be an issue... but in case your worst fear comes true...you will be alright if it's rejected before feb 2008.
Even then there are other ways around this problem...

H-1B through non-profits like Universities does not have a cap. Your only bet would be to find a job through one such an entity and apply for H-1B. Then you can pursue H-1B through any commercial entity during 2008 quota starting from April 2007.

Please research Greencard process on the Internet.

Hey guys,

i just picked this puppy, i ws either thinkin canon s400/500 or sony T1, i know the quality of the pics of canon are superb, but from experience of SONY camera and the size size of t1 just blown me away.

anyway, i know that there are many features, which initially are not easy to use and it takes time, but once you learn the feature,s its phenomenal!
my question was, for INDOOR use, what is the best mode to use? i tried with auto, but thigns come out blurry when there are movigng objects, or people in my case, i try to use the sports mode, but then it comes out really dark. is tehre any other mode or anythgin else i can adjust in auto mode to take nice still pictures for moving objects indoor with decent flash?

I am in the same situation.
I am applying H4 for my my wife, but the question 3g in Part4 , i am not able to make a right choice
Yes if she has worked after admission in the US - Qualifies for this
No if she is going to be dependent on my H1B - Qualifies from the date of approval

What should be choice in this case as she will have worked for 10 months before getting the H4

We also need to provide employment details on part 4 continued section for both Yes and NO

can somebody throw some light on this?

I saw a prior post talking about this issue but has no answer. I am very upset about it.

Vermont Center received my OPT Application on Oct 31,2008. But I checked my status online and it said, "Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283."

Could anyone who experienced this could tell me why? (I inputted the case number correctly.) Can you guys still get your OPT card after this happened?

It is required that you send photos for your ead as they put your picture on the actual ead card. I did not apply for AP so I am not sure about the requirements for that. Good luck to you.

I have AOS and was recently laid off from my job. As I haven't found another job by the removal-from-payroll deadline, my H1B will expire. My question is, once I get my EAD, can I apply for a new H1B. The motivation is that I can bring a spouse over on a dependant visa only on H1B but not on AOS. How should I work this out?

Should be out by at latest the 15th... the bulletins in the past have been released in a range between 5th to 15th of the month.
I think with the Columbus Day holiday recently, they might take an additional day to release.
