Its not true,
My daughter is 3years 5months old and she got FP notice and gave finger prints in Nov 2007. The only change for them is they will get FP Notice with Code 2[means they will take FP for only one hand] and we all get Code 3 FP notice.

1) Will immigration department check back with uni if i am still enrolled (note: i got paper signed from my advisor with my graduation dates on it)
Google SEVIS I-20. The SEVIS system will tell USCIS and universities whether you are in status or not as per F-1 requirements. You will need to get a new I-20 and you are out-of-status until you have one.
2) Should i leave US and apply for a new visa and a new i 20 with that community college?
If yes, then what are my chances of getting a visa?
Don't do it. Your F-1 Visa will most probably be rejected due to this out-of-status issue. You might be able to get a new I-20 from outside the country but not a VISA.
3) What are my options??
Stick with Purdue and do as the International Advisor says (you don't have many options). Hopefully you will be reinstated (Purdue should have issued a new I-20 when they re-admitted you from community college. I am not sure why they overlooked)>

I disagree . He thought his immigration stance will take him to white house. He earlier announced that he will not run for congress again. Poison can be taken care of as long as you kill the snake so that it does not bite other people.

I have filed my GC from Employer A , now I have completed 1 year since I 485 is filed. I have an offer from empyer B who is ready to transfer my H1B. Now my current H1B is expiring in Nov and I will be completing my six year in nov itself. If I go with employer B I am not sure for how long my H1B will be extended. Please advise suitable process for this.
I believe you should be using your EAD + AC21 after 6 months of filing 485.

1) How much time does it take for the EAD application to get processed (Texas Service center) for new EAD (not an extn)?

Hi,
I have AOS and was recently laid off from my job. As I haven't found another job by the removal-from-payroll deadline, my H1B will expire. My question is, once I get my EAD, can I apply for a new H1B. The motivation is that I can bring a spouse over on a dependant visa only on H1B but not on AOS. How should I work this out?

I live in GA. My 485 was filed at NSC and was receipted at CSC and transferred back to NSC.
As per the filing instructions, I will have to file EAD at Texas Service Center.
But some folks told me to file at the location where I-485 is pending.
I have the following questions
a> Where should I file my EAD renewal
b> Is it true, paper based EAD renewal does not require finger printing

You can continue both. Company B cannot tell you to do withdraw other 485. Infact you shouldn't have told company B about 485 with company A unless your company B was willing to use AC21 to continue your GC process. Now they have reason to believe you might leave them for company A.

I would need more information about your particular circumstances in order to provide any useful guidance. If you would prefer not to share personal details in a public forum, please feel free to contact me confidentially by phone or e-mail.
With respect to your first query, as an applicant for AOS you will retain legal immigration status even if you engage in non-H-1B employment using an EAD. You will, however, lose "lawful non-immigrant (H-1B) status" if you perform work for any entity that has not petitioned for H-1B status on your behalf.
Keep in mind that merely applying for and obtaining an EAD has NO impact on your lawful H-1B status. So, given life's uncertainties, it's generally a good idea to obtain EAD and Advance Parole just in case H-1B employment is lost.
