Hi Sandra,
Is the namespace for your FontCollection.cs file the same as that of your Window1.xaml / cs file? The reason is, if I try the following code, I am able to see FontCollection appear in the data pane:
public partial class Page : UserControl
{
public Page()
{
InitializeComponent();
}
}
class FontCollection : ObservableCollection<FontFamily>
{
public FontCollection()
{
/*
foreach (FontFamily f in Fonts.SystemFontFamilies)

There are plenty.. but they cost money... and usually quite a bit. 3D designers think that they have some specialy skills or something. I've not yet found any free ones.. the one's I have seen run upwards of a couple thousand dollars.

It will great help if some body can help regarding this.
I had my H1B from A Company,Recently i have moved to B Company where i was asked to go to UK for Business purpose.I have yet to have stamping from B Company.I still have valid visa till end of next year from Company A name stamping in the passport.Will there be any issues for comming back from UK without having stamping.

You can use the valid visa from Co. A provided that you also show the H-1B approval from Co. B on returning to the US.

Good to see motivated members.....
It is certain that the politicians will not touch the immigration topic in the next one year. Even after best efforts of the president the immigration bill failed in the senate few months ago.
One and only one thing that can be tried before Nov 2008 is the recapture of visa numbers from the last five years. I think IV should push for that.
Other than the above not much can happen, get ready for really long cold winter and then a looong hot summer. I wish things were better.

Please do not rely on Indian Media for immigration news.
They have covered their bases by putting "May" in the headline. "May" increase visas.
There is already a discussion that happened about this on another thread. Please search the forums for the article before starting a new thread.
And for heaven's sake, please dont look for immigration related news in Indian Newspapers. They dont know that congress has two chambers : House and Senate. And they dont know the common basics of legislative process in USA.

I am applying for a green card and my lawyer sent me a case number starting with an A and in the format : A-#####-##### for my PERM.
I tried http://pds.pbls.doleta.gov/ but it does not accept case numbers starting with "A".
Can you please tell me where I can go to look at the status of this application?
The attorneys have a login when they file the PERM electronically and only they can track or the employer can track it. As far as i know it is not open to public.

I have applied I 140 on Jul 6th and got the APPROVAL on Jul 18th from Texas centre :) ... never got a receipt notice... but i know of some of my friends who got a receipt notice before approval ..

You can file 485 only from within USA. So I believe you will be back to USA before filing 485.

Today I had an Infopass Appointment at 10 am. The IO told me, my NC is pending that's why I did not get FP.He told me to wait till July (ie is one yr from the date of applying)then open SR.

I am an undergrad student at purdue. I went to a community college for a year and transferred back to purdue. I did not fill in any paper work or anything and I was put out of status as per my international advisor. I handed them a all the documents that were needed for reinstatement. they told me it take 3-4 months for reinstatement and i should stay the US in the meantime.
Now being said that I filled it on 10/9/11 and i am gonna be dropped from purdue on 10/17/11. I am planning on attending a community college for the coming semester and they will not accept me with a terminated record.
So my questions are -
1) Will immigration department check back with uni if i am still enrolled (note: i got paper signed from my advisor with my graduation dates on it)
2) Should i leave US and apply for a new visa and a new i 20 with that community college?
If yes, then what are my chances of getting a visa?
3) What are my options??
Please advice. I am at crucial crossroads of my life.

dont worry about it. As long as you can prove that you have been treated/or under treatment, this will not hold your application. This will increase / slightly delay your initial application , but otherwise u shouldnt have any problems

No wonder these antis cannot find jobs. Who will employ people who lack intelligence to know that we H1Bs pay taxes. They need to go and find other better arguments against us.
